Americrawls crew installed Sump Pump Replacement: Replaced an old unit with a new M53 Zoeller sump pump to ensure reliable water removal and protect the crawlspace from flooding. Moisture Protection: Installed 676 square feet of CleanSpace® encapsulation liner to seal out ground moisture and improve the overall environment. Applied 78 feet of 2-inch foam board insulation to the crawl space walls, adding thermal protection and enhancing energy efficiency. Structural Repair: Completed 5 feet of sill plate replacement to restore the integrity of deteriorated wood components. Wood Protection: Applied a Timbor Spray treatment to exposed wooden surfaces to help prevent mold growth and protect against wood-destroying organisms.

The installation team completed a full crawlspace remediation and encapsulation over 528 square feet to improve overall conditions and moisture control beneath the home. The project began with a thorough crawlspace cleanout, removing debris and organic materials to create a clean, stable, and serviceable environment. Following preparation, 528 square feet of the CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed across the crawlspace floor and sealed along foundation surfaces to form a continuous, durable vapor barrier. This system helps isolate the crawlspace from ground moisture, reduce humidity levels, and protect structural components from moisture-related deterioration. Together, these improvements promote a cleaner, drier, and healthier crawlspace environment with enhanced long-term performance.

The installation team completed the installation of 1,283 square feet of 6-mil black vapor barrier across the crawlspace floor to help isolate the area from ground moisture and reduce humidity levels beneath the home. The vapor barrier was carefully laid out and secured to create a continuous moisture barrier, helping protect structural components from moisture-related deterioration and improving overall crawlspace conditions. In conjunction with the moisture-control work, 1,283 square feet of RMR-86 mold removal treatment was applied to affected surfaces throughout the crawlspace to address existing mold and microbial growth. The treatment was applied thoroughly to help eliminate mold contamination and improve the cleanliness and overall air quality of the space. Together, these improvements provide enhanced moisture control, mold remediation, and long-term protection for the crawlspace environment.
