The installation team completed a combination of crawlspace moisture-control and structural repair improvements to enhance the long-term stability and condition of the home. The project included the installation of one AmeriSump sump station to efficiently collect and discharge groundwater away from the foundation, helping maintain a drier crawlspace environment. To further control moisture and humidity, 1,120 square feet of 6-mil vapor barrier was installed across the crawlspace floor to reduce ground moisture migration and help protect the space from excess humidity. Timbor mold treatment spray was also applied to exposed wood framing members to inhibit mold growth and help protect against fungal decay. Structural repairs included replacement of 8 linear feet of center beam to restore proper load-bearing support beneath the floor system, along with the replacement or reinforcement of four full-length floor joists to improve structural integrity and load distribution. Together, these upgrades provide improved moisture management, enhanced structural stability, and long-term protection for the crawlspace and supporting framework.

The installation team completed the installation of 140 linear feet of AmeriDrain interior crawlspace drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure at the footing level. The system was carefully positioned to ensure consistent water collection and proper flow toward the sump location. To manage the collected water, one SuperSump sump station was installed to efficiently pump and discharge water away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. To further control ground moisture and humidity, 1,230 square feet of the CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed across the crawlspace floor and sealed along foundation surfaces to create a continuous and durable vapor barrier. Additionally, one Sedona® dehumidifier was installed to actively regulate humidity levels and maintain a dry, balanced crawlspace environment. Together, these components provide comprehensive moisture management, improved air quality, and long-term protection for the crawlspace and structural elements.

This project encompasses the structural repair and reinforcement of a localized section of the floor system. Work includes the removal of deteriorated materials and the installation of new structural components to restore stability and functionality. The scope consists of replacing 16 feet of sill plate, installing nine new floor joists, and adding 12 feet of box headers to properly support and integrate the repaired section with the existing framing. Additionally, 8 square feet of subflooring will be installed to complete the restoration of the surface layer. Upon completion, the repaired area will meet appropriate structural standards and provide a solid, stable foundation for subsequent finishes.
